Women's Security Forum with participants from Prishtina

The Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), in continuation of the activities of the project "Building Sustainability: Communities against Violent Extremism", yesterday organized the Women's Security Forum with participants from the Municipality of Prishtina.

On the platform of the Women's Forum for Security, women and girls of the Municipality of Prishtina had the opportunity to discuss more broadly the topic of security and how safe they feel in their community. During this meeting, some of the main challenges faced by women and girls in Prishtina in terms of security were identified. As such were mentioned various prejudices, violence, fears of sovereignty of the female body, security concerns they feel, lack of equal access to services and institutions and many others.
