Women's Security Forum with participants from Prizren

KCSS Women'w Security Forum was organized today with participants from the Municipality of Prizren, where we discussed about the ways to have a more equal involvement and representation of women and girls in the field of security.

During this meeting, we identified some of the main security challenges that women from Prizren face, such as the lack of equal access in services and institutions- especially for women with disabilities, the lack of health, financial and physical security due to Covid-19, as well as the need to raise social awareness about the contribution that women can offer in addressing security problems.

This activity was organized within the "Building Resilience: Communities against Violent Extremism” project, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
