Ramadani (Dani) Ilazi

Brief biography:

Ramadan (Dani) Ilazi is a PhD Candidate in Politics and International Relations at the Dublin City University (DCU) in Ireland. His research focuses on EU's everyday statebuilding practices. Previously Dani served as a Deputy Minister for European Integration in the Government of Kosovo where he was engaged, among others, in the development of the European Reform Agenda (ERA), and the visa liberalization dialogue. He also worked for a number of years in civil society as one of the co-founding members of the Kosovo Institute of Peace, FOL Movement, and Initiative for Progress (INPO).

Dani holds a master of letters degree in peace and conflict studies from the University of St. Andrews, and recently completed the Seminar on Regional Security from the George C. Marshall Center - European Center for Security Studies. One of the most recent publications from Dani is about the impact of the growing populism in EU for the enlargement perspective of the Western Balkans
